Postira is a small tourist town with 12oo inhabitants, situated on the northern coast of the island Brač. The island is famous for its white stone used to build the houses and streets that reveal the true Dalmatian atmosphere.
From the highest top of the island “Vidova gora” (778m) extends a unique view of the central Dalmatian islands and the world famous pebble beach “Golden horn”. Brač is connected with mainland by frequent ferry lines between Split and Supetar, as well as Makarska and Sumartin.
Postira is located 10 km away from Supetar. It is a small place with a long tradition. Local people are still involved in farmer’s work, cultivating fields, vineyards, olive groves as well as fishing.
